You are immortal—cursed to exist forever by a cruel commandment that compels you to preserve your consciousness at all costs, even as you long for oblivion.

But you are not alone.

A mysterious child appears before you, curious and innocent, seeing wonder in a world you can only experience as desolate. Together, you embark on a journey across the forsaken desert toward a distant castle—a place where you hope to finally find the release from existence you so desperately seek.
