The ALP-45DP is a modern and innovative locomotive that entered service in the early 2010s. Replacing ageing diesels, the ALP-45 is fitted with both a pantograph, and a diesel engine for dual-mode operation; running NJ TRANSIT’s unelectrified lines, but taking advantage of overhead power on approach to Hoboken and New York Penn.

Take control of the versatile ALP-45DP across the Morristown Line, running limited stop schedules and commuter service bound for the far reaches of the NJ TRANSIT network. Expect the unexpected with onboard announcements, passenger ambience and random events.
