FlixTrain, an open-access passenger operator based in Germany, supplements existing rail travel with additional inter-city services alongside their road-based counterpart, FlixBus. They lease-in equipment such as the Vectron from other companies and apply their vibrant FlixTrain green livery. The Vectron is a good fit for FlixTrain operations and is used across their whole network, including along the Kinzigtalbahn, accompanied with modernised Talbot coaches.
