The BR Class 380 is a modern and unique member of the Desiro UK family. Sporting a distinct body shape and streamlined front-end, they are designed exclusively for the ScotRail network.

First entering service in 2010, the fleet of Class 380s has been used on most of ScotRail’s electrified lines. It is perhaps seen most often on the sprawling network from Glasgow Central, including on the many services that operate around the Cathcart Circle.
