The year is 1869 and a revolutionary vessel has just taken to the sea. Built as the first ocean-going ironclad designed with a rotating turret, the HMS Captain was unlike anything seen before on the Atlantic.

As you walk the decks of the Captain, you'll not only experience the ship exactly as she looked at sea, but you'll also have access to the ship in drydock, allowing you an up-close and personal look at the hull and propellers of this audacious machine.
