In October 214 CE, Liu Bei, Cao Cao, and Cao Pi fall one after another. Xiahou Dun takes over Cao Cao's former territories but fails to unify the people, causing Xiahou Yuan, Zhang Liao, and Cao Ren to take their forces in a separate direction. In Liu Bei's former territories, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei grow suspicious of one another and divide their forces, leading Zhao Yun to set out on his own. Meanwhile, Sun Shangxiang of Wu is inspired by the name "Tiger" and raises her own banner, expanding her forces with Jiangxia at the center. Thus, the power structure focused on the Three Kingdoms crumbles, returning the land to chaos.
