The Art of Connecting Things

Modules are vastly diverse in what they can do, but each one typically does one thing and has at least one input or output port.

Wave generators like the sine wave module produce audio signals as output, whereas the speaker module accepts an audio signal as input to play it out loud.

The keyboard module enables connecting a MIDI keyboard to send MIDI signals, commonly to control musical pitch. Computer keyboards can also function as MIDI keyboards.

The envelope module changes the volume of the input audio signal with an envelope gated by a trigger signal, which gives the audio a shape and voice.

There are over 40 handcrafted modules that aim for a balance between simplicity and functionality.

Through exploration, even those with prior experience in audio or music production may discover modules that feel totally new.
