"Dupleix" is a French heavy cruiser from the "Suffren" series. It was commissioned in 1930 and participated in the Spanish Civil War as well as battles during World War II. The ship is equipped with reinforced armor capable of withstanding hits from light cruisers at long distances. The maximum speed of the cruiser is 32 knots (59 km/h).

The main armament consists of eight 203mm guns, providing high firepower and effective engagement of targets at medium ranges. For defense against air attacks, Suffren Dupleix is equipped with eight 37mm caliber anti-aircraft guns and eight 90mm caliber guns in twin mounts. Additionally, there are two quadruple 13.2mm "Hotchkiss" machine guns and four Browning 13.2mm caliber machine guns on board.

The torpedo armament of the cruiser consists of two triple 550mm torpedo tubes of the 1925T type, located on the upper deck between the funnels.
