The Class 170 has been a part of UK regional services for the past 25 years. Across multiple variants and fleet shuffles, they have taken on many roles and paint schemes over the past few decades.

Originally part of Rivet Games’ Fife Circle Line, the iconic turbo now stars in a new role, filling out and enhancing the Cross-City Line. Including both the 170/5 and 170/6 with original headlights, updated cabs and interiors, the Class 170 is now presented in both West Midlands Railway and CrossCountry liveries.

In Train Sim World, step into the cab of the Class 170 and take on new Cross-City challenges. Operate both WMR & XC services between Birmingham New St and Bromsgrove. Patiently power up the famed Lickey Incline, it’s no small feat with diesel-powered stock!
