The Transference is a first-person narrative escape-room thriller set in northern Andalusia, Spain, in the late 1990s.

You play as Marcos, who wakes up trapped inside his own home without knowing how or why. The doors and windows have been boarded up from the inside, which means whoever sealed the house may still be there with you.

You will encounter sinister inhabitants moving through different areas of the house, forcing you to hide, flee, and choose carefully when to keep exploring. Every room hides part of the truth: family secrets, old betrayals, and clues pointing to whoever planned your confinement.

Solve strange puzzles woven into the house and its past. Many of them are inspired by poems by Lorca and Antonio Machado, Spanish literature and folk tales, automatons such as those by Torres Quevedo, references to mystery radio and 1990s TV shows, and even the Enigma machine and its connection to the Spanish Civil War.

This is not just about escaping a locked house. It is about understanding why it became a prison.
