Rhodias is a mid-rank criminal. One day, an inexplicable urge prompts him to leave his gang behind and take to the distant mountains.

While wandering the alien hinterlands, he comes across a handsome traveler who invites him to the Temple of Renewal, where he claims Rhodias is bound to obtain many answers to his questions.

Being in the sacred Temple reveals unexpected things about him, including a primal hunger he didn’t know he had. Even stranger… he now has a new desire, he’s not so comfortable admitting: a desire for a close connection with the men he meets.

Rhodias -  Terran from an outer space colony

A man who thinks of himself first and foremost. An incident that occured 3 months ago brought major changes in his life and he is now in search for answers. He can remain calm even in high-stress situations.

Cyn Deh - Odarian

He is deeply loyal to Varga, his mentor whom he assists in his everyday life. He is not thrilled at the prospect of living with Rhodias, whom he dislikes at first sight. Like most Odarians, he suffers from a poor immune system.

Varga - Izakarian

He offers Rhodias to stay in the Temple of Renewal, where he is a respected and longtime member. Despite his warm demeanor, he never speaks of his own past. He trusts Cyn Deh more than anyone else.

Jah-Roe - Zephirian and Kivyanese hybrid

A high-ranking assistant to one of the Temple of Renewal's administrators. He is hardly ever seen outside of the Archives or his cave-like home. When Rhodias flirts with him, he flirts right back.
