Renowned artist Theobald Breitsam is found dead in his workshop, surrounded by occult symbols and hundreds of black feathers. His body is covered in wounds - but not by any blade. By something that should not be possible.

The city council already has a suspect accused of witchcraft and wants a verdict before panic spreads.
Conrad is the city's executioner. His job is to carry out the sentence and definitely not ask questions.
