After succumbing to Xiangshu’s corruption and becoming Possessed, the Successor of Taiwu can choose to forgo Taiwu Inheritance and descend into the Abyss to confront Xiangshu. Upon returning, the world of The Scroll of Taiwu will undergo fundamental changes:

· The base game’s main storyline will be removed.

· The Successor of Taiwu’s Pure Essence will change to “Return to the Void.”

· Xiangshu Underlings can become companions and serve under the Successor of Taiwu.

· Unlock the new exclusive Aspiration, Occult Incarnation.

· Unlock a special building, the Ninefold Occult Pagoda.

· The Twelve Evil Immortals, Tainted, Zi Wuxiao, and Long Yufu can be slain or brought into your service.

· Reach the new Occult Ascendant ending: use the Ninefold Occult Pagoda to break through the firmament and the veil of the mind, bringing a new heaven and earth into being!
