Description
This is not a hero’s tale — it is a record of observed history.
The End of History is a sandbox strategy RPG set in a medieval-inspired world.
In this world, NPCs live with their own wills and goals, just as the player does. As their intertwined causes and consequences unfold, countless events are etched into history, allowing you to experience a story that is truly one of a kind.
One day, you leave your foster parent behind and set out into the world as a nameless wanderer.
In a world where countless NPC ambitions collide—alliances form and betrayals spread—you too must live on as one who helps shape history.
Prevent the Collapse of the World
You are given a single mission: to stop the collapse of the world. As hatred and division accumulate, the world moves steadily toward ruin.
Every action influences history, and its ripples will eventually return as far-reaching consequences.
Live Freely
You begin as an unknown drifter, with paths leading to bandit, merchant, knight, or even king.
Both NPCs and the player possess their own ambitions and daily lives, and how you choose to live is entirely up to you.
At times, you may be given unreasonable orders or forced into unfair situations.
However, how you confront them—or whether you choose to ignore them altogether—is also your decision.
These accumulated choices shape the world and give form to your own history.
Uncover the Mystery of the “Obelisk”
Fragments of clues are scattered across the world.
What is the true nature of the massive structure known as the Obelisk , said to contain infinite knowledge?
Discover for yourself how it is connected to a world on the brink of collapse.
A World Where Unique Histories Are Born
There is no predetermined scenario in this game.
Instead, a “history that is observed” emerges from the outcomes of countless events, becoming your personal story.
Small decisions, casual conversations, and the aftermath of battles
can sway the emotions of both NPCs and the player, alter their actions,
and ultimately drive major shifts in the world’s state.
NPCs live, fight, build relationships, and sometimes perish even beyond your sight.
Yet your actions can still leave a lasting impact on their lives.
These accumulated moments become a one-of-a-kind history that only you can observe.
Recommended for Players Who… (For me)
This game has very clear characteristics, so we want to be upfront about who will enjoy it most.
Highly recommended if you:
Enjoy deep role-playing that emphasizes immersion in the narrative
Can appreciate events that do not go your way as part of the story
Love simulations where history and NPC lives evolve dynamically
