Description
Tetra Troopers blends spatial puzzle mechanics with wave-survival strategy. You are the commander, and your goal is simple: fit your units together, clear the waves, and keep everyone alive.
THE DAY SHIFT: TACTICAL TD PUZZLES
Every morning, you deploy to the 8x12 frontline for an expedition to recruit troops. Each turn you choose to deploy new troops to the field, or you select global or unit specific upgrades. Defeat the enemy waves and surviving troops become manpower for your cause.
Snap & Stack: Drop block-based squads onto the grid. Leave no gaps in your area.
Fuse to Survive: Don't just place units side-by-side, drop them on top of each other. Overlapping a Medic with a Sniper creates a hybrid veteran unit.
8 Biomes: Enemy threats will diversify and increase as you progress through the areas.
Per Biome Difficulty: Each Biome will contain 9 difficulty levels.
[In Development] Unit Evolutions: A system is planned to allow Level 3 units to merge into powerful new "Elite" configurations.
RETURN TO BASE:
In the afternoon, there is time to build. The battlefield is no longer a small board, it’s your persistent 60x60 Home Base.
Build: Construct, place, and upgrade buildings.
Prepare: Deploy troops to the inner and outer perimeters.
Plan: Manage the incoming threat. Will you distract the enemy, or lead them straight into your kill zone?
THE NIGHT SHIFT: TOWER DEFENSE
When the sun sets, the threat arrives.
Select the Threat: Choose the biome and difficulty of the incoming attack. Take high risks for high rewards or play it safe.
Survive Until Morning: Combat resolves automatically, did you prepare well enough?
Scavenge the Aftermath: Equipment and Supplies are rewarded based on biome and difficulty.
8 Biomes: Both modes have 8 biomes with scaling difficulty.
THE STORY: WHICH PATH IS YOURS?
Believe it or not, these colored blocks have a story to tell. A narrative campaign is currently in development , featuring branching consequences and 3 planned endings.
