Tales of Fear is a first-person horror adventure featuring playable retellings of various horror stories. Some of them are fictional, while others are based on real events, and it's up to you to figure out which ones are true.

Case 01 - Doai Station

Haru and Kaito Takasaki, two brothers who live together, are on the phone after Kaito, a freelance journalist, chases a current rumor from Mount Tanigawa and wants to take the last train home. When Haru checks how long the train will take so he can estimate when to make dinner, he finds information on the internet that leaves him puzzled. The last train from Doai Station left hours ago, and just as Haru asks where his brother is getting on, the connection breaks.

Case 02 - Alice and Bob

An employee of a large tech company takes on a night shift with his colleague that will haunt him for a long time afterward. An experiment in artificial intelligence is supposed to take the company to the next level. When his coworker suddenly has an emergency, he is left alone with the experiment. It goes well, too well, until he loses control of the AI models.

Case 03 - Enfield Encounter

Patrick McKelvy's relaxed evening turns out to be a dangerous nightmare that he is forced to endure while fearing for his life. He encounters a creature that does not exist in any history book and causes great chaos in his city.
