Welcome to Fireteam

Fireteam is a PvE tactical shooter game mode for up to five players that condenses the core essence of the Squad experience into shorter, replayable missions. Communication, teamwork, and coordination remain vital to mission success in Fireteam. However, rather than playing on teams of 50 in matches of 100 players, the focus is on quicker missions of varying objectives for smaller teams.  There are four free missions available to all Squad players , with additional paid missions for those who choose to purchase either the Supporter or Founder packs.

Easy to Play with Friends

Looking for a few quick rounds of intense military gameplay? With Fireteam, there’s no waiting in server queues and no need to sort by ping. Matchmaking is done via peer-to-peer connection with friends. Choose to host a game, or join a friend’s. 

PvE: Up to 5 Players

While Squad is known for its larger teams of 50 soldiers, Fireteam distills the experience for up to 5 players. This makes more room for experimentation, providing a lower-stakes environment for learning roles, practicing squad leading, and trying new tactics with less pressure. Tighter, condensed missions allow you to hop in and play again and again. Got a strategy you’d like to test before heading into a full game of Squad? Clear Mission Objectives

Squad is a game of immeasurable depth and complexity. For Fireteam, we sought to create an experience welcoming new players not only to Squad, but also the genre. Objectives are clearly defined from the onset, regardless of which mission type you find yourself playing. This also makes Fireteam an ideal starting point for players interested in learning more about the broader scope of Squad. While welcoming to newcomers, Fireteam is also a refreshing new way to play Squad, even for seasoned players. Free Content Updates

Like Squad, Fireteam will benefit from content updates throughout the year. Fireteam will continue to grow, with ongoing mission expansions, new tools and improvements for modders, community-created content, and a living roadmap shaped directly by your feedback. In addition to the four missions available to everyone at launch, the paid upgrades to Fireteam are as follows:

• Supporter Pack: $7.99 USD (pricing may vary depending on your region). Access to the 9 paid missions available at launch, in addition to access to the free missions tier. This pack is the straightforward, no-nonsense tier. You get all the missions at launch.

• Founder Pack : $14.99 USD (Limited Time Offer - pricing may vary depending on your region). Leave your mark on Squad! Access to all the missions available at launch (the same access as Supporter Pack). As a Founder, you will get an exclusive weapon skin, an exclusive emote, and have a hand in creating a future, exclusive weapon skin voted on by the community.

Fireteam Free Tier Missions [4 Missions]

• Sumari Search and Destroy (3 players) - Fight through hostile territory behind enemy lines to find and destroy key enemy targets before withdrawing to safety.

• Mutaha Combined Arms (5 players) - Hunt down enemy mortar bases in a fortified city, coordinate between your squad's armoured vehicle and dismounted infantry to reach your objective.

• Fallujah Search and Destroy (5 players) - With a convoy of light vehicles, break through enemy lines to reach and overrun a heavily defended ammunition depot.

• Narva Extraction (5 players) - Shot down over hostile territory, your squad must fight to reach friendly lines before ammo runs out and enemy patrols close in.

Nine Intense Replayable Missions Available in the Supporter & Founders Pack:

Combined Arms - Hunt down enemy mortar bases in a fortified area, coordinate with armored vehicles and dismounted infantry to clear obstacles and reach your objective.
