Description
Play as a mechanic working with Deep Cut—a trio of swashbuckling musicians—and venture out into the mysterious Spirhalite Islands! Customize your character’s look, kit yourself out with gadgets and ink-splattering weapons, and take on waves of foes called Salmonids as you raid the islands for salvage. Then use that salvage to craft and upgrade your gear for the next raid!
This is mainly a single-player adventure, but you won’t be alone. One member of Deep Cut will raid alongside you in a powerful bot—it can launch you to new heights and build up powerful Showstopper attacks to unleash absolute heck upon your foes. You can also join with up to three other players online* or via local wireless**.
The Splatoon™ Raiders game launches on July 23!
Choose a tank and gadgets that suit your splatting style
Equip one of three tanks, each compatible with its own range of specialized gadgets. Pick the one that matches your play style, or even swap tanks between missions to try a different approach.
Feel like tackling the swarms of Salmonids head-on? The Power Tank’s gadgets will have you smashing through crowds with brute force. If finesse is more your thing, try the Speed Tank and its assortment of mobility gadgets—they can’t hurt you if they can’t hit you! Of course, the thinking Inklings out there will want to check out the Tactical Tank, which sports gadgets to control the battlefield.
You can further customize your tanks and gadgets using the loot you find!
Dial in your difficulty
Find your sweet spot with three difficulty levels. You can change the difficulty anytime—it only affects enemy strength, and does not change the loot you get on raids.
