Description
Two Years in the Underworld — and Death Still Isn't the End!
To celebrate the second anniversary of Soulbind: Tales Of The Underworld , we're releasing a free DLC that gives the Eternal two new ways to survive: Fishing and Alchemy.
In the world of Allaar, body parts taken from defeated foes have always been the key to survival. Now you can do more than collect and replace them: recover them from oblivion, stitch them together, and even eat them. Why let perfectly good parts go to waste?
Fishing — River of Death
Lost a rare body part on your last run? Don't say goodbye just yet!
The River of Death holds the remains of the fallen. Now the Eternal has a chance to reclaim what was lost.
Reclaim the lost. Fish up a random body part you lost during your previous run.
Try your luck. You have three casts and can claim one catch per death.
Master the mini-game. Watch the line tension, set the hook at the right moment, and don't let your catch get away.
But remember: the river doesn't always give up its treasures willingly.
Alchemy — The Art of Putting Yourself Back Together
Why settle for the body parts you find when you can make something better?
A new alchemy table at your home base gives you two ways to use your collection.
Stitching Body Parts
Combine three body parts of the same category and rarity to improve the main part:
Increase its rarity by one tier.
Boost its positive stats by 10%.
Keep its original appearance and abilities.
Turn ordinary trophies into more valuable parts of your body!
Alchemical Cooking
Not every body part needs to be stitched on. Some are better cooked!
Experiment with combinations of ingredients to prepare dishes that grant temporary buffs:
Finger Food — increases attack power by 10%.
Food for Thought — increases ability power by 10%.
Last Course — increases maximum health by 10%.
Each dish consumes three body parts. The bonus lasts until death or the final boss, and you can eat only one such dish per run.
New Possibilities for the Eternal
Both mechanics unlock as you progress through the main game:
Fishing unlocks after defeating the first boss, Abomination.
Alchemy unlocks after defeating the second boss, Harsa-Haan.
Return to your base, experiment with body parts, and discover new ways to grow stronger.
The DLC is free for all owners of Soulbind: Tales Of The Underworld.
Thank you for journeying with us through Allaar's Underworld for two years. There are plenty more deaths, discoveries, and highly questionable culinary experiments ahead!
