Skyrest is a first-person roguelike action game where you play as a deceased person at the gates of the afterlife, confronting your unresolved inner issues before reaching eternal rest. Summon procedurally generated islands, gather resources, upgrade your boat, craft items and weapons, and fight ghostly enemies using an arsenal of spirit weapons and runic attacks to reach the gates of Skyrest.

COMBAT

• Fast-paced and dynamic first-person combat, with melee and ranged options.
  
• Face unique enemies and bosses in each biome, unlocking the ability to summon biomes of your choice.
  
• Create Spiritual Weapons and Attack Runes to expand your arsenal and aid you in combat.
  
• Create food and drinks to give you temporary boosts that will help you overcome challenges.

PROGRESSION

• 4 unique biomes, each with its own enemies, traps, items, interactions, and level design.
  
• Unique islands with procedurally generated content to create coherent and diverse experiences across runs.
  
• Discover different interactions, events, and hazzards in each run.
  
• Choose between different Ascensions and Amulets to improve the character in unique ways each run.

META-PROGRESSION

• Your boat is also your home and base of operations; store items, build, and craft new items.
  
• Collect items and resources and send them back to your boat to use them in constructions and item creation.
  
• Build new structures on your boat to enable and expand your item crafting capabilities.
