Shelf-Made Tycoon is a cozy tycoon game about growing a tiny warehouse into a logistics empire. You start with one small building and not much money and every good deal you land turns into more space more clients and bigger ones, until trucks and trains and ships are all bringing work to your door. When money gets tight a local crime syndicate starts calling with big cash for a few unmarked crates *cough cough* but any one of their vans could be driven by an undercover cop and getting caught means losing everything. Even when it all runs smoothly it is oddly relaxing to just zoom in and watch it work.

Every contract is a bet

Every client wants something different, and every contract asks the same question: can you fit it, can you deliver it on time, and is it worth the space it takes? The ticket does the maths for you. Deciding how greedy to be is up to you.

Build for the clients you want next

Space is the whole game. Chilled goods need chillers, chemicals need a hazmat cage, and every rack you add is floor you can't use for anything else, so you're always building for the clients you want next, not the ones you already have.

A bigger world when you're ready for it

When the town isn't enough, open the harbour, the railhead, the industrial estate and the motorway junction. Each one costs you up front and brings new kinds of work, from a feeder ship that waits for nobody to a freight train that leaves on time.

Outgrow your walls

The best moment in any tycoon is when you outgrow your building, and here it keeps happening: the plot next door, a second warehouse across the street, then three more, and a rail siding of your own.

Keep the books

Deliver on time and your stars climb and better clients start calling. Run late and they stop. Upkeep, rent and tax come due every midnight, the bank bails you out once, and after that you're on your own. Play it Relaxed, or risk it all on Standard.

No paperwork, no questions

When money gets tight, the Gull Street Firm comes calling: keep a few unmarked crates overnight and the cash could save your business. Every job raises the chance that the van's driver is an undercover cop. You won't know until the sirens. Say no and they take a cut of your takings anyway.

A town that keeps its own hours

This is the cozy part. Some nights you just want to slow it down and watch the headlights come on, the snow pile up on the roofs and the forklifts keep working through all of it.
