You are a Catholic priest in colonial-era Nigeria, called to a remote jungle village to assist a dying clergyman.

You set out with hunters, porters, a scout, cook, catechist, and healer. Each night by the campfire, one steps forward to confess. It's your sacred duty to listen, assign penance, and bring their soul to absolution—or damnation.

But as the journey progresses, the jungle thickens, the trail vanishes, and your crew begins to disappear, one by one.

Confession Gameplay

Assign penance based on each confession using an in-game manual of prayers, fasting, and public acts. Confessions are procedurally generated for infinite replayability.

Folk Horror Narrative

Inspired by Heart of Darkness, and a true story my mother told me, the game unfolds through daily journal entries, encroaching dread, and a deadly final confrontation.

Immersive Setting
