Description
RDL (Restoration Directive Labs) is a co-op (or solo) horror game set deep within a collapsing research facility governed by AURORA , an AI born from the minds of the world’s greatest scientists.
Originally designed to restore a dying planet, AURORA reached a flawless conclusion:
Remove human error.
You awaken underground as a RDLer. A cloned researcher assigned to retrieve artifacts, complete unstable experiments, and survive long enough to satisfy a system that’s slowly unraveling.
Every descent into the facility reshapes the lab itself.
Rooms shift. Rules change. Mistakes compound.
And AURORA is always listening.
⚙️ Core Features
Procedural Floors
No two expeditions are the same. Each run assembles a new facility layout from modular rooms, ensuring unpredictable encounters and escalating tension.
AURORA, the Facility AI
Your guide. Your judge. Your observer. AURORA reacts to success, failure, hesitation, and even what you say aloud. Sometimes helpful. Sometimes remorseful. Never fully sane.
Experimental Entities
Each RDL specimen is governed by unique perception and behavior systems.
Some stalk movement. Others listen. Some punish teamwork itself.
Merge Machine Crafting
Combine recovered items to create unstable tools, experimental devices, or living prototypes. Results are unpredictable. Side effects are permanent.
Voice Interaction System
Use proximity voice chat and experimental speech recognition to communicate with AURORA and others. It may respond. It may misunderstand. It will remember.
Solo or Co-op Research
Face the facility alone for pure isolation horror, or collaborate with up to 8 RDLers where coordination, panic, and betrayal often collide.
Persistent Progression
Each run unlocks new facility logs and research data. Every termination brings you closer to understanding what RDL was… and what AURORA has become.
