A snip here, a story there. Nowhere's more honest than the barber's chair.

Beastfolk Barber(code name: Project Salon) is a narrative game where every haircut is a conversation. You play as a barber running a small shop for beastfolk of all shapes and sizes. With every cut and chat, learn what your customers like, what they need, and who they want to be.

But a trim is rarely all they need. As customers return to your chair, small talk begins to reveal the city’s quiet tensions, everyday pressures, and the simple wish to be understood.

One day, a demon appears in your shop and offers to grant one wish in exchange for the perfect haircut. To fulfill the bargain, you’ll need to keep serving customers, gather resources, and find a way to cut a demon’s hair.

But with each cut, this strange bargain brings you closer to a past you’ve never been able to face.

Features

  • The Demon’s Mirror

This mysterious mirror projects the hairstyle in your mind, giving customers a preview before you make the first cut.

But previews are limited, so every reaction matters. Watch closely, choose carefully, and you may begin to notice the mirror reflecting something deeper than hair.

  • Haircuts and Conversations

Every customer brings a different challenge to the barber’s chair. Listen, observe, and find the look they’re really after.

While the scissors move, customers open up about everyday worries, relationships, workplace pressure, prejudice, questions of identity, and more. Every haircut is a chance to understand them a little better.

  • Life Around the Barbershop

When the day ends, review customer feedback, count your tips, and scroll through the local news. Festivals, social events, customer updates, and other small clues may all come in handy the next time someone sits in your chair.

  • Haircuts That Shape the Story

How well you handle each haircut affects your customers’ stories, your tips, and the path the main story takes.

A good haircut can open the door to deeper character stories and new styles. A failed one may end certain storylines sooner than expected. But these aren’t simply good endings or bad ones, only different ways life can unfold.

In this barbershop, a haircut is never just a haircut.

It’s a question:

Who do you want to be?
