PRIME PROTOCOL

Prime Protocol is a high-stakes extraction platformer built around commitment, consequence, and choice.

There are no safety nets.
There are no permanent upgrades.
There is no progress without extraction.

Every run is a negotiation between greed and survival.

CORE LOOP

  • Enter a procedural run

  • Discover and carry physical Artifacts

  • Push deeper to increase potential value

  • Choose when to extract

  • Die — and lose everything you didn’t secure

Extraction is voluntary.
Death is final.
Only extracted assets persist.

ARTIFACTS ARE NOT POWER-UPS

Artifacts are real objects , not abstract bonuses.

  • Carried physically during a run

  • Droppable, swappable, and losable

  • Lost permanently on death

  • Banked only through successful extraction

Artifacts change how the game feels — not raw stats.
No power creep. No scaling safety. No forgiveness.

INSTABILITY SYSTEM

Carrying more than you can control destabilizes the environment.

Instability alters:

  • Platform behavior

  • Hazard timing

  • Visual and spatial clarity

  • Environmental reliability

The exit remains stable.
Everything else reacts to your choices.

WHY THIS IS DIFFERENT

Prime Protocol does not optimize for comfort.

It is designed to:

  • Respect player intelligence

  • Reward restraint over grinding

  • Make loss meaningful

  • Make success earned, not accumulated

There is no meta progression that protects you from mistakes.
The system remembers nothing unless you make it remember.

MORE THAN A GAME

Prime Protocol  is the first public deployment of a larger framework — also called Prime Protocol — designed to explore trust, persistence, and voluntary commitment across systems.

The Steam build is the entry point.
The protocol itself lives beyond the game.
