In an age that’s almost finished…

One More Trail follows one of the last Australian cowboys and his lifelong steed during the American Frontier, as they muster one final flock of sheep across the grand vistas of the Wild West. In a world woven from real, public domain photography of the Wild West as it was, The path you plot is yours to choose.  So saddle up, sally forth, and see what the end of an era still has to offer.

The American Frontier

One More Trail is a narratively driven slow life game about a meditative final trek across the American Frontier. With no partner but your trusty steed, 'Ada',  plot each leg of the journey on your map. You’re in charge of where you’ll go and how you’ll get there. As a working cowboy, you’ll lead your flock through vast landscapes, and care for them throughout the drove. Forge a lifelong bond with the horse that's shared it all with you, and  meet strangers on the trail, each following a trail of their own. Develop relationships, and make your mark on others through conversation and acts of service.

At the end of the trail, reflect on the journey through The Cowboy’s Journal , recontextualising the decisions you made and the places you went along the way. Start the trek again and see what else the West has in store for you - things will turn out differently, should you take another route.

Lose yourself in the sprawling vistas of the West , in a game world built from real, historic photography of the American Frontier. Tell your story, reflected through the eyes of the real people who lived it.
