Description
Nora & Riji: The Hole in the Ghetto is a stylized detective RPG with a sharp dose of absurd humor. You are Nora, a black-furred feline outcast with a traumatic past, and Riji, your fame-obsessed PR manager. Investigate a mysterious murder at your school while managing the ensuing media scandal and mastering a unique combat system where you must defeat your enemies without killing them. Solve the murder. Manage the scandal. Become legends.
NORA & RIJI: WE MADE A MESS! Hi, I’m Nora. My manager Riji forced me to make this game because we crave fame — not a boring, predictable “game design career.” You’re in for a NON-GAME for NON-PLAYERS. Here’s why:
SOLVE A MURDER... KINDA. Investigate a ridiculous crime at our school. The killer? The motives? Pure absurdity, just like our detectives.
FORGET YET ANOTHER RPG. This isn’t button-mashing. Every fight’s a puzzle: find the weak spot, win — but don’t kill. Leave 1 HP. That’s the rule. Break the comfort zone, or get out.
MAGIC IS ILLEGAL. Use it in public — get arrested. Literally. There’s a unique ending called “Jail Cell.” Don’t like it? Go play your generic fantasy power trip.
OUR MANAGER DECIDES EVERYTHING. ONCE. Riji can bribe an enemy — but only once per playthrough. Waste it, and deal with the consequences.
WE’RE STARS, NOT CATS. This is basically our flashy Vogue pitch, disguised as a game. Expect absurd dialogues, comic panels, and breakdowns over our future brand deals.
WHO IS THIS “NON-GAME” FOR?
For players who crave raw, conceptual projects with personality — where characters and style matter more than polished gameplay.
Not for those worshipping “balance” and “AAA perfection.”
P.S. This is a beta. We’re constantly updating it based on your feedback. P.P.S. Riji says anyone who leaves a hate comment just envies our upcoming Forbes feature.
