Description
Somewhere in this haystack there is a needle. Your job is to find it, one straw at a time.
Needle In A Haystack 2026 is a relaxing first-person idle game set in a huge factory hall. Grab straws from the pile, drop them on the conveyor belt and watch the money roll in. Every straw you sell brings you closer to the needle hidden deep inside the stack.
Start small with your bare hands and the little Backyard Stack. Spend your earnings in the Workshop to carry more straws at once, get a better price for every straw and hire workers who dig through the hay while you search for the needle. When you are ready, take on The Great Haystack - a towering dome of more than 26,000 straws.
UPGRADE YOUR TOOLS
- Bigger hands: carry more straws on every trip
- Better buyer: earn more money for every straw
- Rake: sweep up a whole bunch of straws with one stroke
- Vacuum cleaner: suck straws straight out of the pile
- Metal detector: scan through the hay and listen for the needle. At the top level, an arrow points the way
BUILD YOUR CREW
Hire up to 12 workers, each with their own name and look, and train them to work faster. They pick straws from the pile and carry them to the conveyor belt on their own, so your income keeps growing while you hunt for the needle.
HIDDEN TREASURES
The haystack is full of surprises. Dig up a rubber duck, a lost sock, a gold coin, a pocket watch, a wedding ring and more. Every find pays extra, but only the needle completes the stack.
