◇ ‘What is “Muv-Luv Unlimited: The Day After”?’
A spin-off title of the Muv-Luv series, continuing from “Muv-Luv” and “Muv-Luv Alternative”.
Veering into a different future than the anime-adapted “Muv-Luv Alternative”, this series stems from “Muv-Luv Unlimited”.
After protagonist Shirogane Takeru sees the heroine escape Earth in “Muv-Luv Unlimited”, this story portrays the people left behind on Earth who nonetheless keep battling against their fate of extinction.

• Episode:00
The human evacuation plan to the Barnard’s Star system was carried out, and five days after the massive gravitational anomaly caused by humanity’s desperate counteroffensive, Operation Babylon, those left behind on Earth were still fighting to survive.
A small group of survivors gathered aboard the stranded U.S. aircraft carrier JFK, struggling to find a safe place to live.
That day, U.S. Marine Second Lieutenant Wilbert D. Collins, on a reconnaissance mission, received a faint distress signal and headed toward its source.

• Episode:01
The massive gravitational anomaly caused by Operation Babylon turned Earth into a world of death.
In Tacoma, part of the U.S.-administered Seattle Imperial Lease Territory—one of the last habitable regions for humanity—stood Imperial Japanese Army Lieutenant Tatsunami Hibiki.
Day after day, he fought to defend Seattle against the relentless BETA assaults.
With food supplies dwindling and ammunition nearly exhausted, Hibiki continued his desperate fight to stay alive.

• Episode:02
To solve the food crisis that had worsened Seattle’s public order, the Empire began construction of a food production plant.
However, on its first day of operation, the facility was taken over by unknown forces, and Supreme Commander Koubuin Yuuhi went missing.
To rescue the Commander and neutralize the terrorists, Hibiki’s War Dog Squad launched an assault on the plant, now turned into a battlefield.

• Episode:03
The war between Japan, the United States, Canada, and France—sparked by the food crisis—temporarily subsided, but the core issue remained unresolved.
A devastated Earth, the looming threat of the BETA, the power struggles between nations, and the everyday people caught in the middle.
What path will Hibiki, now a hero of the Empire, choose?
