Description
Uncover hidden sounds and piece together visual clues
to identify the sin committed by the figure in the painting and pass judgment.
Game Story
At the gates of Hell, you are chosen by the archangel Michael.
In the heavy, suffocating silence, you sense that this place is far more than a simple testing ground.
The classical paintings laid out before you
carry the splendor of the Renaissance and Baroque,
yet beneath their surface, faint traces of sin seep quietly through the canvas.
When light falls upon them, hidden shadows begin to emerge,
and if you listen closely, lingering echoes of terror slowly rise from deep within the paintings.
You must gather the scattered fragments of truth concealed inside each work of art.
Trace the sounds left behind in the canvas, and listen carefully for the final trace that could not be fully erased.
By listening to these sounds and reasoning out their meaning,
you become the one who must choose which sin the painting has been hiding.
But in Michael’s test, every choice comes with a price.
There is no way to run from this trial.
Your interpretations, your intuition, and even your emotions themselves all become part of the examination.
Can you pass Michael’s test?
With nothing but your imagination and powers of deduction, can you escape from the threshold of death that opens onto Hell?
Features
■ Symbol Analysis & Sin Identification System
Classical paintings are filled with metaphors, hidden meanings, and symbolic details.
Objects within each scene subtly hint at the subject’s emotions and their inclination toward sin.
You must search for and interact with these objects, infer their metaphorical meaning, and analyze the symbols they represent.
Combine visual clues to identify which of the Seven Deadly Sins the figure in the painting has committed, and pass judgment.
■ Audio-Based Investigation Mechanics
Sight alone is incomplete. Truths that never appear on screen are revealed only through sound.
Use stereo audio to pick up faint noises and whispers,
and move your mouse cursor to locate the precise source of each sound in a unique, sound-driven puzzle system.
(Headphones are strongly recommended.)
■ Randomized Scenarios with Roguelike Elements
Each time you face a game over and begin again, the paintings you encounter
and the sins concealed within them are rearranged at random.
Pattern memorization is useless; only pure observation and clear logic
will serve as the true key to overcoming Michael’s test.
■ Point-and-Click Adventure in the Style of Classical Masterpieces
Experience a point-and-click adventure combining high-quality visuals based on real Renaissance and Baroque masterpieces
with ominous ambient soundscapes.
