Description
Run a Coffee Shop
Matchmaker Simulator is a social narrative game that delves into the world of matchmaking.
A matchmaking poster is displayed at the entrance of the coffee shop, attracting a variety of visitors. As a staff member, your role goes beyond brewing coffee—you’ll also create dating profiles for guests, screen potential matches, and write pairing reports. Sometimes, you’ll pen congratulations for successful matches; other times, you’ll have to deliver the regrettable news: "No suitable match found."
Amid the bitterness and sweetness of coffee, you’ll witness the social logic behind mate selection. When the pursuit of excellence turns into a chase for profit, and emotions are quantified into data, it’s like a cup of coffee without sugar—leaving behind a sobering aftertaste.
Choose Your Conversation Style
Step into the role of the "Matchmaker" and choose your way of expression:
Will you be lively and straightforward, or calm and observant, occasionally staying silent?
Your conversational style will influence how guests respond.
Welcome a Stream of Visitors
Visitors come from all walks of life: teachers, programmers, writers, lawyers... They arrive at the café with their own stories and expectations.
Listen to and record these ordinary or unique tales, and experience the joys and sorrows behind contemporary views on love and marriage.
Shoot Cupid’s Arrow
At the end of each level, you’ll play the role of "Cupid," shooting the decisive arrow of fate for your guests.
They may happily end up together, or they might reject each other on the spot.
Warning! This game has no "perfect ending." Some will find happiness, while others are destined to miss their chance—just like in real life, regrets are part of the journey.
Simulated App
Use the in-game smartphone app to search and verify visitors’ information.
Piece together fragmented data and conversations to form a complete story and a microcosm of society, shaping your own understanding and answers.
Others
The game uses a linear storyline.
There are no random elements for visitors, allowing a complete experience on the first playthrough.
The total game duration is 90 to 120 minutes.
