Description
Command Russian or Ukrainian forces during the 2022 Russo-Ukrainian War. Create battalion tactical groups (BTG) with a mix of infantry and armor available in the divisions or brigades deployed on the battlefield and maneuver these on a map of Ukraine. Seize victory objectives to take control of a map in single games and seize control of maps to win the entire war in a campaign game.
Strengthen your BTGs with combat support elements such as:
-air defense assets batteries
-engineer companies
-anti-armor companies
-self-propelled howitzer batteries
-multiple rocket launcher batteries
Attach indirect fire batteries to your BTGs or maneuver them directly on the map for additional flexibility and assign them with priority units to support.
Control air assets such as fixed wing aircraft and attack helicopters, assigning types of missions and units for them to support. Mission types include:
-battlefield support
-strikes against headquarters
-strikes against logistics
-strikes against air defense elements
-strikes against artillery units
Conduct airmobile operations by deploying airmobile battalions across the battlefield aboard transport helicopters.
Control special forces elements by assigning them different types of missions that include reconnaissance or raids against specific types of targets like headquarters elements, artillery, and other types of assets. Identify units for your special forces teams to support.
Collect battlefield intelligence through satellite imagery.
Deploy field hospitals and repair units on the map to collect wounded troops and damaged equipment and then track the progress of both as they are healed/repaired for return to combat units.
In campaign games, manage reinforcements and replacements, assigning these to your units to ensure these are combat effective or to obtain a numerical advantage in critical regions to execute offensive operations.
