The Empire—a mighty monarchy and the cradle of arcana and magic—was fracturing under a rebellion led by the nobility.

In swift succession, the king perished, and the heirs to the throne were assassinated... When all thought the Empire was doomed, a new force arose: the Army of Light. Led by Prince Lorin, the army marched under the banner of "RESTORE THE CROWN”, taking the fight to the rebels and determined to reunite the fractured Empire.

Our story begins with Lorin and the Army of Light.

King of Light is a solo-developed indie AVG where the journey unfolds through two gameplay styles: Tactical Campaigns and Deductive Reasoning.

Campaign : A turn-based tactical mode. You must master unique rules and choose the optimal strategy to outmaneuver the enemy. Victory is usually claimed by defeating the opposing commander.

Deduction : A mystery-solving mode inspired by the Ace Attorney series. Use the clues you’ve gathered to answer pressing questions, ultimately uncovering the truth behind each incident or finding a solution to the crisis.

The game features a low difficulty level with simple choice-based mechanics throughout (A complete walkthrough is provided in the manual).
