UPDATE #4 - NOVEMBER 2026

Patch 1.4.0.0 is our biggest update yet, and it changes how raids feel. There is finally so much more to do in every raid: operations kick off around you, convoys roll down the roads, traders wait in the field, and the AI fights back in a even more dynamic way. Alongside a brand-new map, Outskirts, the campaign continues with new story missions, and movement, gunplay, medical and the inventory all got a major pass.

DEPLOY INTO A WARTORN VIETNAM

Incursion Red River lets you engage with up to 3 of your friends as squadmates throughout a destabilized Vietnam. Follow the story campaign, and complete Operations and Tasks for 3 diverse factions across detailed maps, from the jungle Quarry to the docks and rail yards of the Outskirts, to increase your reputation and rewards. Shoot and loot your way through an immersive world against deadly AI encounters to gain influence, wealth, and uncover dark mysteries, or die trying and lose it all.

NO TWO RAIDS ARE THE SAME

The warzone doesn't wait for you. Operations kick off as you move through the map: supply airdrops draw in enemy reinforcements, armed convoys patrol the roads under escort, and on Delta a boss convoy hunts after dark. Spot a convoy, laze it with your rangefinder and call in an airstrike, then pick through the burning wreck before anyone else does. Trade and barter with in-raid traders, send your best finds home through the secure container, and choose where you insert. Day or night, clear skies or thunderstorm, every raid plays out differently.

RED:FOR AI

RED:FOR is the result of a continuous development of our AI system by Solraint, known as the creator of the SPT Sain AI mod. AI behaves smart, they peek and lean around corners, move from cover to cover and coordinate themselves via the NEW AI Director. Also keep an eye out for grenades!

Pick a difficulty from Conscript to Elite, fine-tune every AI setting at any point, and share your presets with the community via code.

EVERY SECOND COUNTS

The goal is to provide a balanced first-person experience that feels realistic, yet fun. Tactical sprint, low ready and mantling let you move like an operator, and simulated ballistics give every weapon and attachment its own character. Pop smoke to cover a push, blind a room with a flashbang, flush enemies out with gas, or toss a bullet to draw their attention away while you slip past. Scope in from afar or keep it close and personal, loud or quiet, day or night, rain or shine - you choose how the task gets done. Treat bleeding and fractures before they take you out of the fight, and keep yourself fed and hydrated to give you a boost. The loadout you pick decides what you have to work with when it counts.

UPGRADE YOUR HIDEOUT

Between deployments, your hideout is your base of operations, and it grows with you. Bring back supplies from your raids and invest them into upgrades: get the generator running, unlock the repair station to keep your armor and weapons in shape, set up the gunsmith to build and save your weapon presets, and open the shooting range to test them before you deploy. Expand your stash to hold more of your loot, upgrade the terminal to choose where you insert, and build up your intel center. Rebuild the structure and lighting to turn a bare shelter into a base that feels like your own.

CUSTOMIZE TO YOUR OWN STYLE

Select and fully customize a wide variety of weapons and gear. Swap out barrels, handguards, foregrips, stocks, sights or magazines and turn your trusty Kalashnikov from a close-quarters menace, into a deadly accurate long-range rifle. Utilize the Gunsmith table to save, load and share your favorite presets with friends, and choose the look of your operator before you deploy.

WHY ARE YOU HERE?

After nearly 20 years, the People's Liberation Army repels the invasion of Vietnam, and with continued Soviet Union backing, arms manufacturing and exports prosper along with the country as a whole.

Another 20 years go by, and the Soviet Union collapses. Vietnam then reluctantly finds its new source of stabilization from the eager West.

Years pass and Western influence spreads until the rebuilt Russia helps fund a new political party in its own image, the Vietnamese Communist Union Party (VCUP). Following a heavily tampered election VCUP wins against the old government, who doesn't go willingly.

The less-than-fair election sparks a quiet civil war, both sides fought for by local citizens, and backed by foreign nations in the shadows. A year of "civil war" trudges by slowly.

Eventually, Russia grows impatient with the transfer of power and allies itself with North Korea for more direct action, sending in the Iron Guard Corps (IGC). Western nations respond, providing "humanitarian aid" via United Intercontinental Security (UICS), and sick of endless imperialism, the Vietnamese Liberation Front (VLF) rises among the local population to free Vietnam.

The tense calm that followed the unjust election quickly falls apart as each faction redoubles its efforts to gain control, ramping up their military forces.

Amidst the noise, historic and renowned black-ops corporation FANG has given YOU a promotion. YOUR new operation is to get to know the factions, covertly carry out their tasks against each other, and figure out why you are really here.

All you know is that if FANG finds what they are looking for, you will save untold lives.

WHO ARE THE PARTIES INVOLVED?

UNITED INTERCONTINENTAL SECURITY (UICS)
UICS is a semi-neutral European organization that offers humanitarian aid to the locals. Some in their ranks, however, have ulterior motives of violently purging the East. They have established a strong presence, setting up in abandoned military bases and widely expanding their ground. In the field, they press with measured, professional force.

VIETNAMESE LIBERATION FRONT (VLF)
The VLF is a growing local movement with new leadership and intentions of liberating Vietnam from foreign influence once and for all. Using their knowledge of the area and lingering connections, their strategic and violent raids continue to succeed against the invading factions. Expect them to hit hard, fast and without hesitation.

IRON GUARD CORPS (IGC)
The IGC, formed by Russia and North Korea, sits in the seat of power, militarily propping up a sympathetic government. Better for Vietnam to be supported by neighbors than the capitalist West. In order to avoid a full world war, the IGC must balance military action and accountability but has no intentions of stepping back. Disciplined and cautious, they hold their ground rather than chase.
