You fire automatically. No action is required other than interacting with the skill tree.

Your number isn’t just your Health —it’s also your size. The bigger your number, the larger and more powerful you become. But be careful: one defeat sends you all the way back to “1” ,  though you’ll keep your upgrades when you restart.
