In Search of Freedom
When the Qu-K virus not only infected bodies but seized the minds of a nation, Argentina slipped into a twilight of chaos and shattered symbols. Cities burned, institutions collapsed, and the truth hid itself in the fog. In the midst of the disaster rises Peluca , a charismatic and dangerous leader determined to reclaim freedom at any cost. Together with his team of immunes, he must fight through hordes, uncover an ancient conspiracy, and face decisions that will shape the fate of the country.

In Search of Freedom combines close-quarters and ranged combat with environmental puzzle solving. The game rewards creativity: using the environment, combining different Blaster chargers, and coordinating enemy waves are the keys to survival. This isn’t just about shooting — it’s about thinking, improvising, and adapting your arsenal to every threat.
Types of Infected (threats that force you to change tactics)
Qu-K Tracker
An agile infected that locates and attacks you at close range. It pursues, closes distances, and forces face-to-face encounters. You’ll have to be quick and clever to evade it.
Qu-K Spliter
Attacks from a distance by ejecting a sticky, corrosive acid. Getting close without protection can be fatal. It forces the use of cover and long-range tactics.
Qu-K Kamikaze
Carries a detonator attached to its body and sacrifices itself to take you out. If it gets near, retreat or paralyze it with electrical energy before it explodes. This enemy turns the battlefield into a mobile trap.
Qu-K Gasborne
Releases clouds of toxic spores when approached or upon death. Inhaling them causes severe damage; encounters in enclosed spaces become tense and require careful planning.
Qu-K Stoneslinger
Launches heavy projectiles from long distances. It forces you to move, seek cover, and neutralize threats across multiple combat ranges.
The Blaster Chargers
Blasters are more than weapons — they’re multi-purpose tools whose versatility depends on the charger you equip. Switching chargers mid-mission reshapes your tactical options.
Continuous Charger
Fires energy spheres in a constant burst. Versatile and reliable for crowd control and sustained damage. Ideal for keeping hordes at bay and halting enemy advances.
Ignite Charger
Converts your projectiles into flamethrower-like bursts. Devastating at close range against clustered enemies — but dangerous near Kamikaze units, which can be triggered by fire. Smart use allows you to create barriers of flame and deny areas to enemies.
Electric Charger
Emits shocks that stun and paralyze. Essential for neutralizing Qu-K Kamikaze units — an electric hit prevents their self-detonation. It can also activate or disable machinery, power circuits, and break energy fields.
Grapple Charger
Fires a hook that anchors to surfaces and lets you traverse the map quickly — perfect for escaping ambushes, reaching inaccessible platforms, and adding verticality to combat.
Gravity Charger
Lets you manipulate objects and enemies: levitate barrels, create moving shields, or hurl foes through the air. Fundamental for solving physics-based puzzles and turning the environment into your weapon.
Interconnected puzzles and combat
Many of the game’s challenges require combining chargers: use the Grapple to reposition, apply Gravity to move a stuck door, then finish with an Electric burst to power the mechanism. Other encounters mix puzzle solving with survival: defend key points while managing waves of enemies. The Ignite Charger can cut off routes, but only the Electric Charger can deactivate living bombs. The right combination opens shortcuts, reveals secrets, and transforms how battles play out.
