Description
After the catastrophe that destroyed the familiar world, humanity ceased to exist as a system of nations.
Capitals fell, borders vanished, megacities went dark.
Only scattered pockets of survivors remain — defense nodes bound together by the need to hold on.
In a world where resources are running out and communication lines fail one by one, people no longer judge each other by the past.
The only thing that matters is the ability to hold the line and keep the darkness from pushing through.
The Ashen
The Ashen are a product of the catastrophe.
They are not an army, and not a rational enemy.
They advance in waves, without fear or doubt, destroying everything that still works, glows, or shows any sign of life.
Every node, every fortress, every defensive line becomes a target.
If one line falls, the next one comes under attack.
Your role
You are responsible for defending a node.
You have fortifications, turrets, traps, and limited resources at your disposal.
To survive, you’ll need to analyze enemy routes, reinforce weak points, combine defensive systems, and adapt to constantly shifting pressure.
There are no universal solutions here.
Every wave is a new threat.
Every mistake is a step toward a breach.
Gameplay
Battles in HOLD THE LINE are built around endurance and calculation.
It’s not enough to deal damage — you have to hold your position.
Use different turret types, mines, napalm, and artillery. Combine defensive mechanics, manage resources, and make decisions under constant pressure.
Enemies differ in behavior, speed, and resilience, demanding a flexible approach and smart planning.
World and atmosphere
HOLD THE LINE is a harsh post-apocalyptic Eastern Europe, filled with concrete fortifications, abandoned infrastructure, and the traces of desperate last stands.
Cold colors, industrial locations, and a tense atmosphere reinforce the feeling of constant threat and the fragility of survival.
