Game Overview
Wolfstone Pine is a first-person horror experience set in a remote national park where daylight exploration and nighttime terror cross paths. By day you'll need to search the abandoned trails, cabins and locations to uncover supplies in an attempt to escape the strange location. But when the sun sets, the forest become a hunting ground, for something large and ancient.
Balance exploration and environmental storytelling with time management as you piece together what happened in the forest to other visits and why the park's authority enforce such a strict curfew.
Wolfstone Pine blends atmospheric tension with a grounded national-park realism to create a world that feels authentic, lived and and quietly wrong.
Wolfstone Pine National Park
Established in 1974 and managed by Wolfstone Regional Parks Authority. The park covers 42,800 acres of protected old-growth forest, wetlands and highland terrain.
It a a heavily forested reserve known for its dense forest. Despite it's name, there are little to-no pine trees in the national park, it is predominantly a Beech forest. The park attracts hikers, campers and nature enthusiasts that seek solitude and unspoiled wilderness. Due to it's isolation and limited road access, visitors are advised to plan ahead and follow safety guidelines.
Camping is only permitted on marked campgrounds or in clear areas around the designated cabins. Cabins can be rented from the Wolfstone Ranger Station before entering the park. Solo camping is discouraged. For visitor safety, no hiking or trail use is permitted after sunset; trails are unlit and can become hazardous in low visibility.
Search by day, hide by night
Visitors are encouraged to explore Wolfstone Pine only during the daylight hours. During this time, please take advantage of the open forest terrain. As dusk settles over the western ridgelines, the Wolfstone Regional Parks Authority advises all guests to return to marked shelters and secure their doors.
Rumors spread by locals include that of a 'Night Creature' that is said to emerge only after the full darkness of night has been revealed. Officials attribute the tales to misidentified wildlife and the Wolfstone Regional Parks Authority deny any existence of any creature.
