Wraysbury is one of the most historic carp fishing venues of all time and was occupied by arguably the most famous carp, Mary, who has been recreated as well as other famous residents such as Mary’s Mate and Cluster for everyone to be able to catch!

Owned by RK Leisure, this stunning 75-acre lake will present plenty of challenges with different features to explore. Large weed beds and gravel bars are present as well as a sunken barge that provides cover for the 8 different species of fish. Predominantly a carp venue with around 500 carp (common, mirror and ghost) topped by Mary at 56lbs, there are also pike, tench, bream and roach to target with 25 different trophy fish.

The sheer size of this venue and the crystal-clear waters mean that effort and patience are needed but the rewards are huge!

Wraysbury 1 South Lake is part of the Giant Carp pack that also features Gillhams Fishing Resort.
