Description
1. Overview
"Fake Dream" is a survival action horror game.
2. Story
You're visiting a town for work.
Tired and remorseful, you fall asleep while waiting for a train at the station.
When you wake up, you find yourself in a world that seems real, but somehow different.
As you battle the inhabitants of this other world, you must confront your own regrets and true nature.
3. Supported Languages
Supports 12 languages: Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Russian, German, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, and Turkish.
4. Controls
Supports both mouse and keyboard and gamepad.
5. Tutorial
Conveniently designed with on-screen control instructions.
6. Playtime
Estimated for a first-time player: approximately 5-6 hours.
7. Continue
If you experience a game over, you can continue from the previous scene.
8. Difficulty
There are four difficulty levels: Easy, Normal, Hard, and Nightmare.
Easy: Enemy attack power and health are 0.5 times that of normal.
Normal: Standard.
Hard: Enemy attack power and health are 1.5 times that of normal.
Nightmare: Enemy attack power and health are 2 times that of normal. (Unlocked after clearing Hard mode.)
9. Carryover
This game allows you to continue playing with your previous data, carrying over your money, HP, equipment, number of slots, etc.
Difficulty levels can also be changed. You can start on a lower difficulty level and then challenge a higher difficulty level.
10. Weapons
Weapons are broadly divided into three types: firearms, melee weapons, and thrown weapons.
There are multiple types of firearms and melee weapons.
Firearms can be improved in terms of attack power, rate of fire, range (the degree of power falloff over distance), critical chance, and maximum ammo capacity.
Melee weapons can be used for both attack and defense. However, defense requires remaining durability (attacks are possible even if durability is depleted).
11. Armor
Reduces damage taken and prevents status ailments. Armor loses its effectiveness when durability is depleted.
12. Shop
Ammunition, recovery items, etc. can be purchased using the in-game currency, "Karma."
Firearms can be upgraded and melee weapons and armor can be repaired in the same way.
Karma accumulates automatically when enemies are defeated. You can also earn "Karma" by selling crystals scattered throughout the stage.
13. Enemies
Use a variety of weapons.
In addition to humanoid enemies, there are also animal and plant-type enemies.
In addition to enemies that attack normally, various types of enemies will appear, including the following:
Enemies that inflict status ailments
Enemies whose bodies can separate
Armored enemies
Enemies that are only effective against specific parts
Invulnerable enemies
14. Body Part Destruction
Some enemies' heads and limbs can be destroyed.
15. Stage
The stage is fairly large, centered around a city.
The buildings you can enter are also fairly large.
16. Puzzle Solving
In addition to using key items, you'll also turn safe dials, align puzzle pieces, and rotate panels.
17. Stealth
During the game, there are enemies that are invincible and can launch instant-death attacks.
You'll need to hide to avoid being detected and obtain items needed to escape.
