ExtremeControl Mapping is a tool designed to convert gamepad inputs into keyboard and mouse actions, featuring a modern and streamlined UI. It is suitable for gaming, everyday application control, and any scenario that requires customizable input behavior. The software is built on SDL3 for device detection and connection, supporting Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and most third-party controllers, with full compatibility for buttons, sticks, touchpads, and gyroscope input.

The program offers flexible mapping options, allowing gamepad actions to be converted into keyboard keys, mouse clicks, or mouse movement. Stick settings such as dead zones, sensitivity, acceleration, and response curves can be adjusted to match the characteristics of different devices.

To support varied usage scenarios, the software allows each controller to maintain its own independent configuration. A layout-inheritance system enables multiple mapping profiles to share or override key assignments, allowing users to reuse existing setups efficiently and reduce repeated configuration work, especially when managing complex or multi-scene control schemes.

When operating in restricted environments or when avoiding duplicate input is necessary, the software can optionally work alongside drivers such as HidHide and FakerInput. HidHide can hide physical gamepad devices to prevent double inputs, while FakerInput helps maintain proper mapping behavior in administrator windows, UAC prompts, or applications that limit standard input methods. Both components are optional and can be enabled as needed.

Whether you are enhancing precision in games or replacing traditional keyboard and mouse actions in daily applications, ExtremeControl Mapping provides a customizable and adaptable control experience tailored to your personal preferences.
