🚧 The Game Has Evolved Since Early Access Launch
End of Everything first entered Early Access in October 2024 as a very early prototype build.
Since then the game has received numerous updates improving survival systems, UI, crafting, combat, and world design as development continues toward full release.
🧠 Overview
The world didn’t end quietly.
First came the panic.
Then the rot.
Then everything collapsed.
End of Everything drops you into the aftermath — a ruined world where the infected roam freely, supplies are scarce, and survival is never guaranteed. Cities stand abandoned, the land is unforgiving, and whatever caused the outbreak left behind scars, secrets, and unanswered questions hidden throughout the environment.
This is a first-person survival experience focused on scavenging, crafting, exploration, and long-term endurance.
The infected are not tied to waves or timers — they persist naturally in the world. Every encounter forces you to decide whether to fight, sneak past, or retreat entirely.
The world won’t explain itself.
Survive long enough to earn the answers.
🎮 First-Person Survival Gameplay
A grounded FPS survival experience where awareness, positioning, and resource management matter more than raw firepower.
Every encounter costs supplies, creates noise, and increases risk. Poor decisions can quickly spiral into disaster.
Combat is only one option — sometimes the best strategy is simply avoiding conflict.
🧟 Persistent Infected Threat
There are no rounds and no safe resets.
The infected occupy buildings, roads, and locations across the map at all times. Areas must be cleared carefully, escape routes planned, and noise managed.
Some infected are slow and predictable.
Others are faster and far more dangerous.
Tight interiors, sound, and limited visibility can turn a simple scavenging run into a desperate fight for survival.
Exploration also rewards curiosity — hidden throughout the world are environmental secrets waiting to be discovered.
⚒️ Survival Systems That Matter
Survival goes beyond combat.
Core survival mechanics include:
• Hunger & Thirst – Manage food and water while scavenging the world
• Unsafe Water Sources – Some water may carry illness or health risks
• Stamina Management – Movement, combat, and escape rely on endurance
• Weight Limits – Inventory choices matter when every item has value
• Health as Long-Term Survival – Damage and illness can have lasting consequences
These systems are designed to create tension, planning, and meaningful decision-making.
🏗️ Base Building & Crafting
Create safety in an unsafe world.
Gather materials to craft tools, weapons, consumables, and equipment. Build shelters and storage to secure supplies, recover between expeditions, and prepare for your next journey.
Crafting and building systems continue to evolve and expand throughout development.
🌦 Environment & Atmosphere
The environment itself is a threat.
Dynamic lighting, sky, and weather systems affect visibility and tension.
Bright daylight exposes you.
Nightfall limits what you can see.
Environmental conditions change how you explore and survive.
Sometimes the world itself is the greatest danger.
🌍 Current Map — The Wastelands
A post-apocalyptic desert environment shaped by collapse, decay, and abandonment.
Once-active settlements now stand silent across the wasteland — scattered with remnants of the world that came before. From isolated homes and roadside stores to warehouses and industrial ruins, every location can be explored and scavenged.
Features include:
• Fully explorable buildings including homes, shops, warehouses, and industrial structures
• Hundreds of environmental objects such as wreckage, debris, furniture, and world detail
• Expansive open terrain combined with dangerous points of interest
• Hidden secrets and environmental storytelling waiting to be discovered
The Wastelands is designed to provide a complete survival experience , while also serving as the foundation for future maps and expansions as development continues.
🌍 A World After Extinction
This isn’t the apocalypse.
It’s what comes after.
Every location is designed to deliver atmosphere, tension, and environmental storytelling. As you explore deeper into the wasteland, it becomes clear that the outbreak wasn’t random — and survival alone won’t reveal the full truth.
Survive long enough to uncover what remains.
