This title is an adventure game originally released by Microcabin in 1986. While retaining the touching core story—a mother fox setting off toward the distant Reel Shrine in search of fried tofu (abura-age), rumored to be a miracle cure for her terminally ill kit—this unique MSX arranged port drastically overhauls the original gameplay systems.

The game has evolved into a deeply engaging, RPG-like experience. Controls have been updated to a user-friendly, command-selection menu, allowing players to freely explore a 2D scrolling world map. The addition of perspective-shifting 3D dungeon exploration further enhances the sense of immersion.

Free movement across the map brings a substantial increase in narrative content along the journey. Alongside traditional RPG elements such as health points (HP) and battles against wild animals, a dynamic day-night cycle has been introduced. This makes room for numerous new side quests and events, including time-sensitive occurrences, conversations with quirky animal inhabitants, and requests from NPCs.

While faithfully preserving the gentle, heartwarming atmosphere of the original fairy-tale fantasy, the integration of open exploration, combat, and varied events turns it into a livelier, action-oriented adventure. Transcending the boundaries of a standard port, this charming classic offers a fresh experience that feels almost entirely brand-new.
