Dream Hollow is a cozy-horror narrative adventure that combines all our favorite aspects of point-and-clicks, visual novels, and RPGs while incorporating minor roguelike elements and resource management.

ESCAPE THE FOREST

You're a s mall child who has run away from home in the middle of the night. Now, you find yourself trapped in a str a nge forest filled with storybook creatures and terrifying nightmares. Each day you must push yourself a little further to explore the forest before your RESOLVE runs out, and fear dri v es you back to your cozy littl e cottage. 

BEFRIEND THE DENIZENS

The forest is filled with many strange stor y book creatures, all living in fear of the h o rrors that lurk within. It's up to you whether or not you spend the time and resources necessary to save them from the terrors that surround you. Grow yo u r relationship with them, and experience many unique story events as you learn about what's r eally going on in these woods. 

MANAGE YOUR RESOLVE

RESOLVE is a measure of your b ravery, courage, and determination. The more horrors you encounter in the fo r est, the more your RESOLVE is tested. When your resolve is empty, y o u have no choice bu t to flee home and start a new day. The c h oices you make can upgrade your RESOLVE in order to push yours e lf a little furthe r each day. 

COZY YOUR COTTAGE 

Your one safe haven in the forest is your quaint little cottage. Fill it with gifts from denizens and other trinkets you might find along your journey. Invite the denizens you can save back to your cottage to shelter them from the forest's horrors.
