The world collapsed after a nuclear war. Cities were reduced to ruins, roads vanished beneath layers of ash, and the territory of the former United States was divided into dangerous sectors. In the aftermath, an organization known as D.E.C.A.Y. — Department of Environmental Control And Yield was established. Officially, it is an agency tasked with environmental control and resource management. In reality, it is the last force attempting to impose order on a dying world.

DECAY has deployed a network of autonomous bunkers across the country. These facilities serve as observation posts, forward operating bases, and living quarters for agents assigned to specific sectors. Each operative works alone — monitoring territory, following command directives, and responding to threats emerging from the wasteland.

You are a hired soldier of DECAY. An operator of a remote bunker, sent too far and left too long. Your bunker is not a relic of the past — it is an active facility under your responsibility. Maintain life-support systems, repair equipment, gather supplies and resources. Without you, the facility will fail — and with it, control over the sector will be lost.

Beyond the bunker, the world follows its own rules. The wasteland is home to mutants, raider gangs, and rival factions, each with its own vision of order. Some trade and protect their territory, others survive through raids, while some hunt for remnants of lost technology at any cost. DECAY demands stability — but not everyone agrees with its methods.

As missions unfold, it becomes clear that orders do not always align with reality. “Environmental control” increasingly means armed intervention, while “resource management” becomes a harsh decision over who deserves to survive. In time, you will have to decide whose orders you follow — and what order truly means to you.

DECAY combines realistic VR physics, gunplay, exploration, survival, and faction interaction in a world where every decision has consequences.

You have no squad.
No constant support.
No safe zones.

There is only you…
your bunker…
and a world slowly falling apart —
waiting for someone to decide its fate.
