Description
Vienna Expansion – Experience Vienna by Bus and Tram
Expand City Transport Simulator 2026 with Vienna and take over operations on three realistically recreated routes through the Austrian capital.
Drive tram line 37 from Schottentor to Hohe Warte, take line 38 from Schottentor to Grinzing, or get behind the wheel of an articulated bus on bus line 35A between Spittelau and Salmannsdorf. With different routes and characteristic districts, each of the three lines shows you a different side of Vienna.
Three Lines Through a Realistic Vienna
The new routes have been recreated with great attention to detail based on their real-world counterparts. Road layouts, stops, and the surroundings along the lines are based on the real Vienna. More than 1,000 realistically recreated buildings make numerous streets and characteristic locations throughout the Austrian capital instantly recognizable.
Tram lines 37 and 38 take you from the centrally located Schottentor towards Hohe Warte and Grinzing. Bus line 35A runs from Spittelau via Döbling to Salmannsdorf and offers a completely different driving experience behind the wheel of an articulated bus.
Historic buildings, public squares, and typical Viennese Heuriger areas characterize the routes. Authentic AI traffic as well as dynamic passengers and pedestrians bring the city to life and create a realistic representation of Vienna.
Two Typical Wiener Linien Vehicles
The ULF (Ultra Low Floor) operates on the tram routes. Both the ULF A and the longer ULF B are included.
For bus line 35A, the Citaro C2 articulated bus in Wiener Linien livery is ready to go. The vehicles, driver’s cabs, and interiors have been recreated in detail and, together with the realistic routes, provide an authentic Vienna public transport experience.
