Become a bush pilot away from civilization. Battle the elements while doing deliveries. Upgrade your aircraft and explore the world. There are no runways here.

Background

This game is a solo passion project. I basically wanted a flight "sim" that could easily load on whatever crappy laptop I have at the moment on any OS, while also supporting smooth flying for both controller and keyboard. On easier difficulties the game is a bit slow-paced and I find it very relaxing to play while listening/watching some long-form content on the side. On harder difficulties the weather gets pretty challenging, navigating actually requires more attention, and take-offs/landings are a puzzle.

What to expect

  • Seamless Controller Support - You can switch from Mouse and Keyboard to Controller and back at any time while playing. Flying is optimized for both playstyles.

  • Simcade Flight Mechanics - This game features a simplified flight model with a focus on being fun. This model produces some realistic scenarios, like landing in crosswind, stalling, and using instruments in low visibility. However, there are no trim tabs, propeller reaction forces or any advanced aerodynamics.

  • Weather - Rain, snow, wind, turbulence and fog. These are your primary enemies, they change often and they do so quickly. You should always be prepared for a go around.

  • Time of Day - Each real life minute corresponds to an in-game hour. You should be careful when planning your deliveries, it's harder to land during the night.

  • Biomes - There are 10 biomes, each with its unique flora and fauna.

  • Procedural World - A seed is used to generate the world for each new game. The terrain styles can vary, leading to different navigation challenges.

  • Aircraft Upgrades - As you earn funds from deliveries, you can buy upgrades for your aircraft.

  • Difficulty Settings  - There are 4 difficulty settings, ranging from completely peaceful weather with no wind, turbulence or fog, all the way up to hurricane weather.

  • Soundtrack - As of now, there are 8 pieces of music themed around ingame scenarios. I'll probably make more in the future.

  • Small File Size - The full game is about 100MB.

  • Low Spec - This game runs well on my old Dell Vostro 15 3000 laptop from 2022. Should run on pretty much everything from the last 5 years at least. For now I only support 64-bit x86 builds, but I'd be happy to make ARM and 32-bit ones if anybody mentions them in the community hub.

No AI

I strongly dislike generative AI, so none was used for making this game.
