Ellen Vos may be the last one in the race for the hydroelectric power, but she compensates with fierceness and sheer willpower. Her skills and rewards allow the player to juggle with water droplets, creating a more dynamic configuration on the map.

With the introduction of The Netherlands, it is now possible to play up to 5 players. A wider map, with 5 different water streams, will be used for 4 and 5 players games.

New technologies await all CEOs in their struggle: by purchasing Private Buildings, players can access powerful interactions and actions to optimise their strategy and better react to opponents plans. From piling up gold to buying cheaper machineries, some Private Buildings will even allow brand new powers like never seen before.

External works are a new way to gain advantage in game, provided you are ready to part from your unused Concrete Mixers and Excavators. By destroying the required machinery, you can gain powerful immediate effects, such as resources, free buildings, and even closing Contracts.

Four new XOs are added to the roster of available helpers. Their abilities interact with the new mechanics or enhance the base gameplay experience.

The Leeghwater Project is not just a pack of content; it's a proper expansion that changes the way the base game is played. Future content packs will include elements of gameplay specific for the new mechanics, i.e. new Private Buildings and External Works.
