Description
《 A Four-Person Party RPG: Fight Alongside Your Companions 》
In Archetype Blue, you'll meet more than 50 companions, each with their own personality.
They all have different abilities and ways of fighting. Choose three to join your leader and head into battle as a party of four.
You can swap companions during missions as the situation changes, or try out a whole new combination.
But it's not just about gathering the strongest companions.
Who should you bring along? Who belongs in the front row, and who should take the middle or back?
Once their abilities and positions start working together, your party really comes to life.
Gather the companions you like, and find the fighting style that lets each of them shine.
《 Your Companions Fight Their Way. You Change the Tide. 》
When a battle begins, your companions act in order: Front Row → Middle Row → Back Row.
That means positioning isn't just about deciding who takes the hits.
You might put someone up front so they can act first, or set things up with an early move that lets the next companion shine.
Once all three companions have acted, it's your turn as the leader to play cards.
Deal extra damage, protect your team, heal their wounds, or power them up. Use your cards to step in and change the course of a fight already underway.
This isn't a battle where you give every single order. But it isn't one you just sit back and watch, either.
Your companions fight in their own ways. As their leader, you make the calls when they matter most.
《 Change the Party, Change the Battle 》
Switch out just one companion, and the whole party can play differently.
One companion acts first and sets the stage. Another protects an injured ally. Someone else builds on an earlier action to deliver an even bigger blow. And your cards open up more possibilities.
The more companions you meet, the more combinations you'll discover. Every new card can also give you fresh ideas for using an old favorite.
There's no single right answer.
Build around the companions you love, or stumble upon an unexpected combination that leads to a whole new strategy.
With so many companions and cards to choose from, build a party that feels like yours.
《 A Different Journey with Every Mission 》
Missions bring battles, events, choices, and rewards along the way.
Depending on the cards and equipment you find—and the situations you run into—you might stick to your original plan or take your strategy in a completely new direction.
Swap companions if you need to, put together a new formation, and use what you've picked up to get ready for the next fight.
Sometimes everything will fall into place just as you hoped. Other times, an unexpected combination might turn out to be exactly what you need.
Make the most of each changing situation and find your way through every mission with a party of your own.
《 Another Side of the Companions You Met in Battle 》
When the fighting ends, the story begins.
After all, fighting alongside someone doesn't mean you know everything about them.
In Archetype Blue, the story follows the Order of the Lake and the world around them.
That cheerful companion might have a past they've never told anyone about. Two people who seem like strangers might be connected by an old incident or a promise made long ago. And depending on the people involved, some companions may hate each other—while others fall in love.
Get to know them little by little in Scenario Mode.
You'll start to understand actions that once seemed strange, and offhand remarks you barely noticed may take on a whole new meaning.
《 Fight Together, and You'll Want to Know Them Better 》
Maybe you first chose a companion because you liked their abilities.
Or maybe you just liked how they looked or talked.
But after going through battles together and learning what they've kept hidden, you might start seeing them differently.
You'll find yourself wondering about the stories of companions you've fought beside so often.
And when you grow fond of someone through the story, you might even start planning a new party and new tactics just for them.
Combat and Scenario Mode play out separately, but the people you meet in both are the same.
Fight beside them, and you'll grow attached. Learn their stories, and you'll want to bring them along again.
《 Battles or Story—Choose Your Own Journey 》
In Archetype Blue, you can play Combat Mode, where you build a party and take on missions, separately from Scenario Mode, where you follow the lives of the characters in this world.
Want to test a new party combination? Jump into Combat Mode. Curious about someone's story? Head over to Scenario Mode.
Play each part your own way. The companions you fight beside and the characters you get to know in the story are all part of the same world.
Later on, something they said casually in battle might sound completely different once you've heard the story behind it.
《 More Than 50 Companions, and the Stories They Share 》
Companions who bring their own talents to the battlefield.
Four-person parties built from countless combinations.
Different cards and equipment to choose from on every mission.
And in the background, the Order of the Lake and an old story slowly coming to light.
Who will you fight alongside?
What kind of party will you build?
Meet more than 50 companions, and discover the stories of Archetype Blue together.
