Aethelon is an infinite open world creative voxel-based sandbox where voxels share an uneasy truce with traditional model assets.

Build and Explore across massive procedural worlds shaped by diverse biomes and landscapes. From dense forests and sprawling grasslands, over towering mountains, or trek across sparse deserts and polar regions.

By possessing any character model from the game, play as anything from humanoid through wolf.

Gather from the environment to craft the tools you need to survive and eventually thrive.

Grow crops, harvest wild flora, fish, trap or hunt. A balanced diet is a healthy diet.

Multiple OPTIONAL modes for unique game play combinations.
Feeling Cozy? Then you want Peaceful + Creative to build your perfect retreat.
Need more excitement? Pick RPG for more combat and / or Survival for more player management.
Still need more? RPG + Survival + Horror ensures every calm moment is cherished.

  • RPG - Hostile mobs will spawn. Health, Stamina and Magic will ensure you succeed in your endeavors.

  • Peaceful - Mobs will not harm the player, even in self defense.

  • Survival - Hunger, Thirst, Breathing and Body Temperature must be maintained to stay alive.

  • Horror - Fatigue, Corruption, and Sanity will be your downfall.

  • Creative - All blocks are available from creative inventory.

Current Game Stage: Pre-Alpha

Known Issues:
After a chunk is loaded, then unloaded. It is not correctly re-loading.
When digging the root block of a tree, the multi-block stacking into player inventory is incorrect.
Asphyxiation currently causes no health damage.
WorldEdit Paste is not queuing changes to the front of the queue for all affected Chunks. This causes significant delay between paste and the application of the blocks.
Player Interaction: Range is based on camera position instead of body position. This causes player interaction range to be off when using 3rd person view.
Secondary cameras still use the old input system.
